Privacy
We’re three friends making a podcast, not an ad company. We collect as little as we can, keep it on our own Amazon Web Services (AWS) account, and never sell or share it.
No cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies, so there’s no cookie banner. There are no ad trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
Anonymous usage data
We use Amazon CloudWatch RUM to see which pages and episodes people visit, where visits come from (for example a LinkedIn post or the QR code at the golf sim), and whether pages load quickly or show errors. It records page views, load times, errors and your browser type. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t know who you are. We keep this data for 30 days.
The launch list
If you sign up, we store your email address, when you signed up and how you found us. We use it to email you when the show launches and when episodes drop, and nothing else. Every email we send will have a way to unsubscribe, or emailhello@currentlynotworking.com and we’ll remove you.
Your story (“Pull up a chair”)
If you send us your story, we store what you wrote, your email, your choices (first name only or anonymous, guest, sponsor) and your voice memo if you upload one. Only the three hosts can read it. We use it only on the show the way you agreed to. Voice memos are deleted automatically after a year. Ask us any time to delete your story and we will.
The Not Working Index
The survey is anonymous: no names, no emails, no free text, and we don’t store your IP address or browser details with your answers. We only publish totals, and we hide any group of fewer than five people.
